Welcome to Postcards from Pembrokeshire (Day 13/365)
Today's Postcard "Three oaks and an ash"
The sky towards Gower from Coppet was as if flour had drifted two-thirds down a piece of slate. We missed the early early birds but oystercatchers peeping and two wandering kittiwakes gave Watson the eye. He was digging of course, head down, bum up, sandy chops.
Home for a heroes' breakfast: laverbread/oatmeal patties fried in butter, touch of white pepper. Chunky flat mushrooms (spruced up with a dab of Dijon, dash of balsamic); eggs. Pause. Strawberries (as a separate course). Pink Gins, Club Soda. Tilt at a windmill.
