Welcome to Postcards from Pembrokeshire (9/365)
Today’s Postcard: Sea sparkles, Tenby
Tenby: out of season but still quietly busy, plenty of scarves and good coats on display as morning leg stretchers move town-ward for their lunch. I parked up towards Park Hotel, probably my favourite view of the town, and walked down the steps to the end of the North beach, the sparks from the sea still tingling my eyes as I mistook an old friend for a stranger.
Paint: (on my Ritec Red homemade earth paint): Ivory Black and Prussi; skies of Light Pink and Cerulean Blue (tinted). Same Blue with a touch of Kings Blue Pale in the water, lightly sparkled over with pure Titanium White.
Brush: Size 2 flat (hog); Size 1 round (synthetic).
Hope you like the painting, sorry for the brevity (it is a Sunday...)
